How Online Italian Lessons Work
Every lesson is live, one-to-one, via video call. No pre-recorded videos, no automated feedback just you and me, speaking Italian together.
1. Free first call (15 minutes)
We start with a conversation to understand your level, your goals and what kind of learner you are. No commitment. No awkward tests. Just a chat.
2. Your personalised study plan
Based on our first call, I will build a lesson plan around you: your current level, the gaps you need to fill, the Italian you’ll actually use. Not a generic syllabus your plan.
3. Weekly lessons, at your pace
Lessons are 60 minutes, once or twice a week depending on your schedule. Each lesson includes speaking, grammar where needed, real input (articles, audio, video clips) and structured feedback.
4. Progress that you can see
After every lesson you get a short summary: what you practiced, what to review, what comes next. No guessing where you are.
About me
I am a native Italian teacher from Verona, certified CEDILS (the Italian certification for teaching Italian as a foreign language). I have taught Italian to hundreds of students from all over the world.
My approach is direct and practical: real Italian, real conversations, real progress. I teach Italian the way native speakers actually use it not only the grammar.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to speak Italian to start?
No. Absolute beginners are very welcome. The first lessons are both in English and Italian while you build your base. I will switch to Italian gradually as your confidence grows.
How long does it take to learn Italian?
It depends on your starting level and how often you study. Most students reach conversational A2 in 3–4 months of weekly lessons. B1 typically takes 8–12 months of regular practice. The key is consistency, not speed.
What platform do lessons happen on?
Lessons are via Zoom. You just need a computer, a stable internet connection and a microphone. No software to install.
Can I try one lesson before committing?
Yes. The first call is free and lasts about 15 minutes. It’s a relaxed conversation, not a test. You decide afterwards whether you’d like to continue.
Do you offer lessons for children?
These lessons are designed for adults (16+).
